What do I need to send with my laptop?
You only need to send the laptop, AC Adapter, Power Cord and any available system software in case we have to re-install your operating system. We will not need the carrying case, software or other accessories unless related to the repair. Please contact us if in doubt.
Do I send payment now or later?
Do not send payment now. You will be contacted by telephone from our repair department with a diagnostic of what is wrong and how to pay for the repair.
How should I ship my laptop?
You should ensure that your laptop is securely packaged for shipping. Customers are advised and are responsible for insuring laptops against possible damage or loss.
How long is the warranty on my repair?
Repairs come with a 3 month Return To Base warranty. Only the exact symptom and problem originally described to us will be covered under warranty.
What about my business data or personal files?
We strongly recommend that you backup your data as much as possible before sending to guard against potential loss. We can arrange to backup or recover data for you as long as it is intact. We are NOT responsible for data loss.
What happens if I get the laptop back and I am still having the same problems?
No problem. You have a three month RTB warranty. We will repair and correct the same problem at NO COST to you other than delivery.
If you cannot fix the laptop, what am I charged for?
Only delivery. If we cannot fix the laptop you are charged for nothing else. We apologise we could not fix the problem.
If I decide NOT to have the laptop repaired after you have diagnosed it, will I be charged a diagnostic fee?
Depends, we don’t normally charge for a diagnosis unless extensive work must be carried out such as stripping down and rebuilding. We will inform you if a charge must be made. You will be charged for return delivery.
